In this episode I answer 2 listeners questions...
Katie is struggling with weight issues and fatigue, despite having 'normal lab results'. These issues started after she gave birth to her first child 3 years ago.
I discuss -
- The connection between our thyroid gland with these symptoms, and why they can be triggered post-partum.
- How 'normal' lab test results are often not optimal
- Diet and lifestyle strategies to support thyroid health, weight loss and low energy
Next, I answer Jess's question as she is struggling with cystic acne on her face and body. She is also dealing with IBS symptoms and wants to know if these are connected and if so, where to start!
I discuss -
- The gut/skin connectionFunctional lab tests I'd recommend & how to easily test your bowel transit time at home
- How to complete a gut healing protocol correctly.
- The role chronic stress plays in acne and digestive issues, and why intense exercise may not be a great thing while we are healing.
